The Alaska Railroad bridge connects the airport to West International Airport road and can be seen as you exit the Arrivals ramp.

Alaska Railroad Bridge at the Airport

STEELFAB is the ONLY certified bridge steel fabricator in the state of Alaska. This prefabricated steel bridge was manufactured in the Anchorage warehouse for the Alaska Railroad and transferred to the Ted stevens Anchorage International Airport in 2002.
