Certifications

We have the most code-certified fabricators in the state. From steel fabrication for highway bridges and high-rise buildings to corrosion coatings to custom steel fabricated fire pits – SteelFab has more custom steel certifications manufacturing and fabrications than any other Alaska fabrication company.

SteelFab is certified by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) for structural steel fabrication and construction. This certification allows SteelFab to fabricate and/or erect steel structures, including buildings, bridges, and bridge and highway components. SteelFab is the only company in Alaska certified by AISC to construct, fabricate and coat steel highway bridges.

ASME certification is a rigorous and demanding process to ensure the safe and reliable fabrication of your custom fabricated equipment like pressure vessels. Only those fabricators who have completed the demanding process of inspections, documentation and other elements, are granted the ASME stamp and only on those projects that they are certified by the ASME to fabricate. Built right here in Alaska for Alaska’s tough environment.
